Wedding photography at Boconnoc House with Kiss Photography

Saturday was another amazing wedding for Kiss Photography. We started off our day at Boconnoc House with Robin, the groom, his best men and his friends as a bit of a groomsmen prep, when the Windsor knot finally played the game, it was almost time for their pub lunch, so we had a quick shoot with the lovely lads and then let them go to the pub all suited and booted! Then it was onto Amy’s family home with her lovely family and Nigel the cat for some tranquil bridal preparation.
Amy was a dream bride, she was calm and wonderful, she was in her jeans when we arrived and seemed to get ready in moments and looked completely stunning! Her antique lace fitted dress with the delicate covered buttons was made for her! Her veil was long, a very fashionable statement, and looked incredible. Her lace Valentino shoes were just beautiful, elegant and oh so stylish, but it didn’t stop her climbing trees and trekking over a deer park. Because the fantastic thing about Amy is however beautiful and elegantly dressed she was on her wedding day, she’s a country girl at heart and loves the outside and couldn’t wait to put her dress and shoes to the test!
The church at Boconnoc House is fantastic and we were blessed with a fantastic vicar who let us get on with our job so we could capture what we needed to capture. ( we loved him and may take him with us wherever we go… is that allowed? )

I have certain ‘wedding moments’ that I just love throughout the year and Amy and Robin’s wedding gave me two moments that I will always hold dear in my wedding memories, The first was them walking out of church, the piper playing ( Scottish roots on Robins side) and the sun streaming down, them both so happy and all their guests just following. Then ( to keep the vicar happy) it was decided to throw confetti in the estate grounds rather than the church, so around the corner, the guests all lined up on the impressive driveway up to the house and the happy couple walked through what can only be described as a sea of rose petals and lavender. There was lots of laughter, a great way to start the party and lots of sneezing from Robin, who then remembered his flower allergy !!! ( he didn’t mind, a true gent ! )

The champagne was flowing and Pimms were drunk on the lawn, the guests mingled and it was just perfect. The speeches were fun (and very funny) and the band “Company B’ a 1940’s band complete with Army uniform just rocked !

We at Kiss Wedding Photography wish these two a perfect life together, thank you both (and your Mum and Dad ) for looking after us so well throughout! much appreciated ! X
